Established in 1861 by
Erhard Junghans,
Junghans scored many worldwide firsts in clock and watch technology,
such as the first clock featuring a calendar (1879), the first luminous hands (1907),
the first quartz movement wrist watch (1970),
the first radio-controlled solar-powered clock (1986), the first radio-controlled
wrist watch (1990), and the first radio-controlled solar-powered wrist watch (2000).
The
Junghans Solar Ceramic Atomic,
watch never needs a new battery, adjusts itself to a radio signal, automatically switches to
daylight saving time and back, and features a lightweight hypoallergenic ceramic case and
bracelet.

The
Junghans Solar Titanium Atomic Watches
feature a 99.43% pure titanium case and bracelet, and a
solar power reserve of up to 4 months.
They adjust themselves to a US radio time signal and
automatically change to daylight saving time.

This is the
Junghans Apollo Mega MF,
the world's first watch that adjusts itself to time radio signals in the US, Europe, and Japan.

Junghans not only makes new technology watches, but recently re-issued one of their classics:
Max Bill designed this wristwatch, which has now been brought out in the original design - with a mechanical movement, of 1962.
Max Bill by Junghans
wristwatches come in four original designs and also as original wall clocks designed by Max Bill in the 1950s.
