The Vitodens 200 is a wall-mounted condensing boiler. The following features set it apart from its competitors:

The vent is actually a coaxial pipe. The center pipe discharges flue gas, while the outer ring sucks fresh air for combustion. This way, the Vitodens 200 does not necessarily have to be installed in a vented boiler room. it can be installed in the kitchen, bathroom, or finished basement.

Viessmann Vitodens 200 gas heater installation options There are three venting options:

Option 1: Coaxial pipe for fresh air and flue gas through the roof.

Option 2: Same as Option 1, only through the wall.

Option 3: Single pipe for flue gas through the roof. Fresh air is taken out of the vented boiler room.

All three options are approved under ANSI Z21.13 CSA 4.9.-2000.
